Revenue increased by 10.4% y-y to R22 619m, primarily attributable to increased broiler slaughter volumes and sales in the second half of the year, as well as a recovery in selling price realisations following selling price deflation during the first half of the year.
The Feed Division was able to grow its external customer volumes through the year, and together with an increase in internal feed requirements, supported revenue growth in that division.
Gross profit margin up by 50bps to 17.5%.
Operating margin stable at 5.5%.
Operating expenses increased by 5.7% y-y with operating expense to revenue of 12.3% (FY24: 12.9%).
Dividend of 1 100.0cps (FY24: 520.0cps).
Cashflow from operations increased by 20.3% y-y to R1 677m.
Gross debt decreased from R25m to nil, while net cash increased from R13m to R1 013m. Net debt to EBITDA improved from 0.01x to -0.64x.
