Barloworld (BAW) FY25 – Results Snapshot

Diluted HEPS from continuing ops of 810.0cps (FY24: 1 011.6cps).
Revenue decreased by 10.0% y-y to R37 711m, mainly attributable to a decline in Vostochnaya Technica (VT).
OPM decreased by 100bps to 8.0%.
Total expenses decreased by 9.0% y-y to R34 705m, while expense-to-sales increased from 91.0% to 92.0%.
Dividend of 120cps (FY24:520cps).
Cash generated from operating activities increased from R1 308m to R2 376m.
Gross debt down 3.9% y-y to R6 873m, with net cash increasing to R5 989m.
On 1 October 2025, Barloworld announced that all conditions precedent to the Standby Offer made by Newco (Saudi Arabia’s Zahid Group & Entsha Proprietary) had been fulfilled and the offer became wholly unconditional. The transaction involves the acquisition of all Barloworld Ordinary Shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at a cash consideration of R120 per share.
