Diluted HEPS of 1 217.7cps (1H24: 1 148.7cps).
Revenue increased by 3.6% y-y to R117 948m (+7.1% in constant currency), driven mostly by growth in the United Kingdom and Europe segments.
Gross profit margin up by 40bps to 24.1%, which held up very well, particularly considering management in several businesses aggressively sacrificed some margin to maintain volumes and achieve market share growth.
Operating margin down by 10bps to 4.9%.
Operating expenses increased by 5.2% y-y with operating expense to revenue of 18.8% (1H24: 18.5%).
Interim dividend of 560.0cps (1H24: 525.0cps).
Cashflow from operations increased by 119.8% y-y to R3 330m.
Gross debt increased from R14.3bn to R15.8bn, while net cash decreased from R8.1bn to R7.6bn. Net debt to EBITDA increased from 0.42x to 0.54x, which was within expectations considering working capital cycles, capital investments and acquisitions.
