In our weekly updates, we summarise key statistics in the spread of Covid-19 in South Africa. South Africa recorded 3 603 856 cumulative Covid-19 infections as at 30 January (+0.6% increase from 3 581 359 infections on 23 January), of which 3 443 535 are recoveries and 65 299 are active cases (from 75 627 active cases on 23 January). The recovery rate is currently 95.6%.
