Diluted HEPS of 218.0 cps (+9.5% y-y).
Revenue growth of 2.0% y-y to R4.0bn.
GPM down 40 bps to 42.3%.
Operating profit margin down 20bps to 9.2%.
Expense to sales down 20bps to 33.4%, while expenses grew 1.4% y-y to R1.3bn.
Dividend of 150.0cps (1H24: 138.0cps).
Operating profit margins were impacted by lower volumes and overhead cost pressures during the period.
Signature Brands portfolio was impacted by a lack of discretionary consumer income for luxury dining experiences. The overall Brand performance continues to be under pressure as lower consumer spending dampened demand.
The Retail division’s revenue and profitability decreases were primarily due to lower sales volumes of potato products.
Manufacturing revenue was in line with prior period at R1.6bn, driven by price inflation but offset by decreased volumes and a negative shift in product mix.
