Karooooo (KRO) FY24 – Results Snapshot

Diluted HEPS 2 382cps, up 24.2% y-y (FY23: 1 918cps).
Revenue increased by 19.9% y-y to R4 206m, driven by strong subscription revenue growth in South Africa (+14% y-y), Europe (+31% y-y) and Asia Pacific, Middle East and USA (+29% y-y).
Total subscribers grew by 14.8% y-y to 1 971 532, with double-digit growth in all regions. Asia-Pacific, Middle East and USA has achieved subscriber growth of 24.7% CAGR since FY19.
GPM decreased by 80bps to 64.0%, largely due to the closing of Carzuka’s SA operations.
OPM declined from 25.1% to 24.8%.
Expenses increased by 18.6% y-y, expense to sales fell by 40bps to 39.5%.
Dividend of USD 0.85 (ZAR 16.10).
Net cash declined by 54.8% y-y to R436m.
Gross debt declined by 18.9% y-y to R49m.
Strong revenue growth from Cartrack (+17.5% y-y) and Karooooo Logistics (Picup) (+76.5% y-y).
