South African Fishing segment impacted by lower available volumes and was unable to benefit from 5% increase in TAC due to erratic weather and resulting lower catch rates. Segment revenue up by +10.3% y-y.
Australian operations benefitted from inclusion of MG Kailis and a favourable exchange rate. Segment revenue up +94.1% y-y.
Aquaculture reduced operating loss to R16m (1H22: R18m) despite load-shedding costs.
Cape Harvest Foods segment benefitted from higher selling prices across all categories.
